BOB BENNETT
PRESIDENT
Bob founded the company in 1988 after a 15 year career in law enforcement. While working as an instructor at the Regional Law Enforcement Training Academy (instructor in Traffic Accident Investigation, Crime Scene Investigation and Patrol Tactics), he developed the first national satellite training network for police officers and emergency response personnel.
The network LESTN (Law Enforcement Satellite Training Network) became a joint venture of the Kansas City, MO Police Department and the FBI Training Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Bob supervised production and coordinated 150 viewing sites around the country, with 75,000 viewers.
BRIAN BENNETT
VICE PRESIDENT OPERATIONS
SENIOR TRIAL TECHNICIAN
Brian started with TBC after graduating from Rockhurst High School in 2001. He has been involved in all aspects of the business and is currently in charge of operations.
Brian began his career as a videographer and duplication manager and quickly worked his way into the courtroom as a trial technician. He is now a Senior Trial Technician and has been the hot seat operator on numerous local, national and high-profile cases throughout his tenure. His knowledge and interest in audio-visual technology has allowed TBC to develop advanced systems for both picture-in-picture and HD Videoconferencing Technology.
In his free time, Brian enjoys golfing, movies, playing guitar, travelling, listening to music and spending time with his wife, Alexis and their three children: Madison, Jackson and Reagan. The kids can all be seen from time to time visiting grandma at the office.
TRAVIS CULP
VIDEOGRAPHER
TRIAL TECHNICIAN
Travis started with TBC in 2010, after graduating from the University of Central Missouri. He began his career videotaping depositions, editing and handling courtroom equipment setup. Travis quickly worked his way into the courtroom as a Trial Technician, presenting evidence in Sanction II, Trial Director and On Cue. He has been in the hot seat for numerous complex and high-profile trials across the country.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, going to sporting events, trivia, movies, listening to live music and spending time with his wife Kristy. He has an uncanny ability to remember stats, numbers and information seldom interesting or useful to anyone, except sports fans.
ALEXIS BENNETT
TRIAL TECHNICIAN
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Alexis started with TBC in 2001. She holds a degree in graphic design from UMKC. Alexis began as head of duplication/legal production. Her expertise in graphic art started her transition to trial technician in 2003. She has served as lead trial technician on numerous large, complex cases. Her graphic design skills make her uniquely positioned to create effective demonstrative exhibits for TBC clients.
Alexis enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, and their three kids. In her spare time, she loves reading a great book, creating art, spending time outdoors and traveling with her family.
DAVID LOMBARDO
VIDEOGRAPHER
PRODUCTION MANAGER
David began his career with TBC after a stint at SONY Corporation, where he honed his skills on a variety of audio and video equipment. He has always had an interest in the audio/video field. In fact, it actually goes back to owning his own stereo system at age 5. David’s time behind the camera has provided insight into a variety of different industries and careers: farming, railroads, architecture, medical, accounting, entertainment, legal…Every day he learns something new and has an opportunity to meet interesting people involved in many different professions.
Some of his passions and hobbies include music and record collecting. He is also a big Superman fan and enjoys reading. He was born and raised here in Kansas City and loves his town! He currently lives in Olathe, KS with his wife Jodi and their fur babies.
SUE BENNETT
OFFICE MANAGER
Sue worked for 16 years as executive secretary to Harry Thomson and Jack Kilroy, Jr. at the law firm of Shughart Thomson and Kilroy (now Polsinelli). In 1993 Bob convinced her to leave the firm and join TBC as office manager. Because of her experience, she has a unique insight into the world of litigation and trial support. Sue handles the scheduling and distribution of jobs, invoicing, payables and just generally keeps everyone on schedule.
Sue enjoys being outdoors gardening, playing with her grandkids or relaxing at the lake.
CHRISTY NIGRO
PRODUCTION
Christy began working full-time at TBC in 2007, after graduating from the University of Missouri with a degree in Psychology. Since then, Christy has worked as the Production Manager, making sure clients receive their video copies in their desired format. Her organization skills, attention to detail and consistency facilitate workflow and help get product out in a timely manner.
Christy enjoys all kinds of live entertainment. Whether it be musical theater, concerts, ballet, opera, or rooftop bands, she loves to watch people sing, act and dance. She has also been known to belt a few songs at a karaoke event. When schedules align, Christy also enjoys playing trivia with her team, Prestige Worldwide. On occasion, they have even won some cash and prizes for their obscure and irrelevant knowledge. She lives in Waldo with her husband John-Paul and sons Robert and George.
